Dr. Che Ahn
President & Founder of Harvest International Ministry (HIM).Ten years after Ché and Sue Ahn left Maryland to come to Los Angeles and steward the coming revival that Ché saw in a vision, Harvest Rock Church (now HRock Church) experienced a powerful move of the Spirit. People were getting radically healed, saved, and encountered by God’s glory, as heavenly visitations and visions became a regular occurrence at protracted nightly meetings that lasted for 18 months. This was a revival.
After previously being part of the Vineyard Movement, Ché received a word of the Lord from the respected prophet and author Cindy Jacobs that he was to “father” a new movement — a “network of networks,” created to train and raise others — as Ché would have spiritual children in every continent who would reach the world. Rooted in a value for spiritual covering, accountability, relationship, and community, Harvest International Ministry (HIM) was birthed in 1996, centered and built on Him — the person of Jesus Christ.

Ché Ahn (born January 17, 1956) is the senior pastor of HRock Church, the founder/president of Harvest International Ministry, the international chancellor of Wagner University, and the founder of Ché Ahn Ministries. He has appeared on television segments aired on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), GodTV, The Eric Metaxas Show, and more. He is an author, itinerant speaker and has been featured on the cover of Charisma magazine. Ché received his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary and has played a vital role in many strategic local, national, and international outreaches. He ministers extensively throughout the world, bringing apostolic wisdom with a Holy Spirit impartating revival, healing, and evangelism. His greatest desire is to see society transformed through Christians who understand and fulfill their ordained purpose. He has written more than a dozen books, including Modern-Day Apostles, God Wants to Bless You!, and The Grace of Giving.
Biography
Ahn was born on January 17, 1956. Ahn married Sue Roxas on September 1, 1979. Ché and Sue have been married for over 40 years and currently reside in Pasadena, California. They are the parents of four adult children and have six grandchildren.
Ché Ahn and Sue Roxas became followers of Jesus in the early 1970s and met at a large Bible study in Washington, D.C. In 1982, Ché received a prophetic dream from the Lord that a great harvest would come to Los Angeles. Ché and Sue Ahn moved from Maryland to Southern California in April 1984, believing the Lord for a great revival. Ché and Sue started small prayer meetings in their home in Pasadena in March 1994, and within a few weeks, more than 300 people showed up for those meetings. Harvest Rock Church (now HRock Church) was officially launched on April 4, 1994.
From 1995 to 1998, the church would host nightly meetings at Mott Auditorium, where God’s manifest presence radically transformed thousands of lives. By the close of 1995, HRock Church merged with three other local congregations with distinct backgrounds that felt the call for unity in their community. Then on Father’s Day 2004, HRock Church moved locations, finding its new home in Pasadena’s prized Ambassador Auditorium.

In 1996, Harvest International Ministry (HIM) was birthed under Ahn’s leadership. A Harvest Rock Church joined with 14 other churches to form this apostolic network working together to help fulfill the Great Commission. Since its inception, he has now extended into more than 65 nations and connects over 25,000 affiliated ministries and organizations across the globe.

In June 2010, Ahn’s spiritual father and mentor, Dr. C. Peter Wagner, made Ahn the international chancellor of Wagner Leadership Institute (now Wagner University), an international network of apostolic training centers established to equip believers for Kingdom ministry. In 2017, Ahn founded California Dreamin, a church-planting and discipleship initiative with an apostolic vision for global revival and reformation.
