Volunteers play a vital role in helping our charity carry out our life-changing work. You can join
the growing team of fantastic short and long term volunteers to work on specific tasks that suit
your availability, interests and expertise.

Volunteers will be placed, as best as possible, according to their skills and experience.
Placements may be offered to volunteers who meet the below requirements.

CHOOSE YOUR ROLE

As a volunteer at United & Empowering Millions (UEMA), you will have an
initial conversation with one of our Volunteer Managers, to determine what
you would like to do. We will then ensure you receive appropriate training, you will be nurtured and cared for in your volunteer role so that you can grow and learn new skills if you wish.

There are many tasks and projects that you can get involved in to support us and partner with us through, for example,

• Website design and IT support
• Logistics management
• Applying for local fundraising opportunities
• Admin tasks on our database
• Bus and van chauffeurs
• Campaigning and lobbying
• Sub-committees
• Advocacy and support
• Trustees
• Digital Marketing (including social media, YouTube, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, video production and digital design)
• Writing articles/contributors
• Graphic design
• Food preparation
• Volunteer management and more…
