JOB SUMMARY:

The Worship Leader – Development position at New Heart New Spirit Alpha Omega Holy Assembly (NHNSAOHA) in Algarve, is designed to help people who are early on in their ministry experience, or experienced but new to NHNSAOHA, the necessary skills to excel within the Worship ministry of NHNSAOHA.

We are currently looking for people who are passionate about growing and cultivating an assembly of worshippers. You will have the opportunity to help us find and develop some of the best worship leaders in ministry from around the world who will be based in Algarve, Portugal. This role will include the primary responsibility of gathering them into our new worship team, leading them and working in a team environment that encourages spiritual, personal and professional growth.

JOB DUTIES:

Developing spiritually, personally, and professionally through mentoring, training, and other ministry opportunities at both the New Heart New Spirit Alpha Omega Holy Assembly (NHNSAOHA) and within the United & Empowering Millions association.

Work with our Core Team, assisting with various projects such as:
Setlist planning, scheduling, gear purchasing/maintenance, and track production.
Hands-on ministry experience as you serve at NHNSAOHA on the weekend and one or more weeknights.

You will spend time doing such things as:
Playing an instrument or leading vocally, setting up and preparing various venues, and developing and mentoring new team members.

SERVING AT VARIOUS WORSHIP ENVIRONMENTS SUCH AS:

Kids, Students and Adults of all ages from young Adults to Seniors

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

Experienced in a worship environment, either as staff or volunteer.
Knowledge of all aspects of worship
Basic knowledge of music software
Experience of songwriting
Proficient vocal technique and ability and/or on at least one instrument

Classification: Part-time, volunteer position, including weekends and some week nights.
