Welcome to prayer meetings, worship and our forthcoming Safe Haven and Revival Retreat
that will be located in a rural location in the beautiful mountains of Algarve at Perola Gloriosa,
hosted by New Heart New Spirit Alpha Omega Holy Assembly (NHNSAOHA).

Perola Gloriosa is a place to honour God, created by God and given to us by God for His Glory
and His purposes. A place where God’s light shines, darkness is revealed and must give way to
the power of Jesus Christ and where liberation takes place and life is restored. It is where truth
meets you to confront what controls you so that you can experience freedom from all the
bondage that has prevented you from walking in the purpose God has determined for your
life. It is where the scales fall of your yeses and you receive eyes to see and ears to hear.

Perola Gloriosa is not religious or for religious people. God is against religion and so are we.
Nor is it for the ordinary and customary things that have become popular in the church today.
Unfortunately, today’s church lacks the power of the Gospel to provide genuine spiritual
freedom. The present state of the Church is due in part to the reliance of our pulpits on the
wisdom of men rather than the power of the cross and the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

The prayer in Perola Gloriosa focuses on abiding before the Lord and drawing near to God until
he draws near to us. This seeking will open the hearts of seekers to his power that brings
genuine change. This transformation will result in the revelation of God’s purpose, and through
a life of faith and obedience, it will be manifested in the lives of all who seek him.

At Perola Gloriosa, the Word of God is preached and taught with authority to please God and
not men. As a result, Scripture is relevant to the problems of our generation and we take
comfort in knowing that God’s Word never changes and is always perfect and true. Through
this standard of preaching and teaching, peace and confidence increase in the hearts and
minds of God’s people. In Perola Gloriosa, worship is not about singing well or performing, but
about crying out to the Lord, longing for Him and making an offering to the Lord through our
voices, lifting up His name high and giving the Lord all the praise and worship that He so richly
deserves.

Thomas and Helena Vernholm founded the New Heart New Spirit Alpha Omega Holy Assembly
(NHNSAOHA) and were called by God to also develop and host a revival retreat; Perola
Gloriosa in the mountains of the Algarve, in addition to the assembly building in Portimão,
Algarve. They have been commissioned to bring deliverance to people from all walks of life.
They are two anointed vessels of the Lord with a passion to declare the whole counsel of God
in Europe and beyond. Thomas and Helena proclaim the Kingdom of God with a direct nononsense approach. Their authority of the scriptures brings light to the very deep and dark
places that have held many of Christ’s people in bondage. They both recognize that we are
living in the very last days and have a deep sense of urgency to bring the souls of humanity to
the altar of the Lord for repentance, spiritual growth toward maturity and the pursuit of
Holiness.
