United & Empowering Million’s primary goal when it comes to transitional housing and sustainable living is to transform lives and restore dignity by encouraging each individual to become balanced (physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually), to grow self-supporting apart from the sex industry, and to be an active community participant.

Individuals in need are to be housed in our planned United & Empowering Million’s Transitional Housing Community and provided services within a transitional-living community context.

United & Empowering Million’s  hope is inclusive of all individuals and can serve parenting youth with one child. The residential program will also provide a variety of on-site services specific to sexual exploitation that include case management, mental health therapy, education programming, life skills training, a survivor mentor program, health care services, and positive youth development activities where we will work together with certified social services, community, and health professionals.

Together we will help rebuild and transform lives. Every human being has the right to live freely and indignity. It is a natural right offered by Christ to all humans without exception or discrimination. Based on this belief, at United & Empowering Millions have as one of our main goals to shelter victims of homelessness, substance abuse, poverty, and human trafficking, try to bring smiles back to victims’ faces, and revive their sense of dignity. Rebuilding smiles means rebuilding the victims’ lives before they rejoin society afresh. It also means making them strong again and able to develop themselves and their surrounding environment.

United & Empowering Millions join local and international efforts to combat homelessness, substance abuse, poverty, and human trafficking. While it is concentrating on providing relief, care, transformation, and rehabilitation for victims in a safe and secure environment, it also works at other levels, based on ‘Prevention is better than cure.’ The foremost of these efforts is the contact service and the website where support and relief requests are received and taken care of. The transitional living community will also implement sustainable awareness plans and programs for individuals to better understand the gravity of homelessness, substance abuse, poverty, and human trafficking and the need to protect against it.

Stabilization

Through assessments and assistance, clients will achieve the realization of physically healthy lifestyles and management of addictions and other medical issues.

Trauma Recovery

Through individual and group trauma therapy with professional counselors, clients address a history of sexual, physical, and/or emotional abuse.

Spiritual Support

Clients are supported in developing a strong/healthy spiritual center, mature critical judgment, and decision-making skills.

Education

Through skills/aptitude assessments and training, clients determine educational level & goals, identify a professional emphasis, and become equipped with skills and confidence to succeed in the workplace.

Relationship Building

Through the creation of a safe and supportive community environment in the residential facilities, clients will work on developing strong family relationships, healthy social relationships, and building a supportive social network.

Financial/Housing

Through assessments, classes, and ongoing support, clients will build skills to manage finances and secure stable housing independently. They will also have the opportunity to access a planned transitional tiny house community if they opt to do so as their initial and optional housing solution.

United & Empowering Millions staff, partners, donors and volunteers will work indefatigably. With each success they achieved, they will send a message of hope to all survivors of neglect and abuse. This will be a powerful testimony and remind the world of the necessity of keeping human dignity alive everywhere and share testimonies from former victims turned conquerors and who are witnessing of real and long lasting life transformation.
